The Ced-Rel Supper Club is the oldest supper club in Cedar Rapids, IA and dates back as far as the early 1900s. Originally, the Ced-Rel was a gas station and a members-only key club. It is believed to have been a hot spot for illegal activities of the era, including drinking and gambling.
In 1935, the building was purchased by Verlin and Isabelle Sedrel, who renamed it The Ced-Rel Supper Club. Since this transition, the Ced-Rel has been a staple restaurant serving the finest hand-cut steaks and fresh seafood.
Since 2014, the Ced-Rel Supper Club has been under new ownership. April Urell, a waitress at Ced-Rel since 2003, became the new owner. Today, April and her staff are committed to serving high-quality seafood and steaks to the Cedar Rapid, IA region.
